My mind is a busy place. There is always a song in it, playing in the background. The thoughts on the forefront of my mind are usually artistic in nature and words are constantly combining themselves in rhymes or some form of satisfying combination. I’ve never felt like I qualify as a poet, but the more I think about it, the more I can’t define what a poet really is. I write a lot of poetry; I think I might be a poet.
So, I decided to add a poetry page to this blog. It may not directly relate to the story of Freedom Village, but these are deeply personal thoughts that have made it through the mental gauntlet of poetry and successfully gotten OUT OF MY MIND. They are beautiful thoughts. I hope you find them beautiful, too.
